ABSTRACT:

For disaster recovery, CitiStreet was sending duplicate copies of this data-as well as other data-off-site, a common practice for many organizations, but one that left CitiStreet feeling vulnerable if the media were lost or stolen. CitiStreet turned to Datalink to architect a solution that would provide replication capabilities from its primary location to its disaster recovery location (capabilities that were more secure than cloning to portable media). This case study looks at why Datalink recommended and ultimately implemented Network Appliance Fabric-Attached Storage (FAS) systems with disk-based WORM storage and replication capabilities.
