The Munich Airport’s microcosm consists of flights, shopping centers, medical facilities, a fire department, and many other amenities. The IT systems' robustness is critical for all these units to function without hiccups.

But the airport’s IT infrastructure was inherently complex, with websites, passenger guidance systems, over 2,000 monitors, check-in systems, and more. The lack of integration between all assets made the management process complex.

This case study details how the Munich Airport used Infoblox’s DDI solution to unify DNS, DHCP, and IP address management into one platform. With DDI, the airport was able to provide both customers and the IT teams with smoother processes.
