Elle Resende, CIO for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. With a budget of R$1.5bn (£344m), the Games’ technology suppliers include Atos, Cisco and local telecoms giant Embratel. New elements include Wi-Fi access in the buses used by the media, and mapping and sensor technologies for sports new to the Games, such as golf and rugby.
