This has resulted in the development of enhanced threat detection capabilities with an increasing number of security researchers investigating methods to identify and share threat information.

In this report, Alien Vault surveyed attendees of IT security exhibition InfoSecurity Europe to paint a picture of how threat intelligence is obtained, utilised and shared, and to seek out views as to the role the government and law enforcement has to play to help better protect enterprises from threats.
