The Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP) upgraded its cyber defenses with Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity (KICS), fully implemented in 2021 to shield reactor controls.

KICS protects against malware and attacks, covering workstations to controllers, and features endpoint security, network monitoring, and centralized management.

A joint LNPP-Kaspersky team integrated KICS into active units. It now secures power for over 7 million customers, 55% of St. Petersburg's energy. LNPP hails KICS as an "advanced" enhancement, with plans to expand cooperation.
