Not according to this new joint report by FS-ISAC and Akamai. DDoS attacks continue to be a serious problem for banks and other financial institutions, in fact, the volume of DDoS attacks targeting financial firms increased 22% year-over-year as of November, and in Europe, it was much higher — a 73% increase.
