The public health emergency (PHE) has been extended, giving providers breathing room before the end of the continuous enrollment requirement (CER). Estimates suggest between 5.3 million to 14.2 million Americans will lose coverage, and all Medicaid patients will be required to go through redetermination. The impact on providers is predictable: increased eligibility & enrollment needs, denials, and uncompensated care. Additionally, we're experiencing the lowest unemployment rates in 50 years.
In this webinar, we’ll review steps that hospitals can take to prepare for the end of the PHE and CER.
In this session, attendees will learn:
- Identify the risks to your organization related to the end of the CER
- Articulate a strategy for preparation for the end of the CER
- Develop an action plan to mitigate negative impact
