Much has been written about telehealth as a way to ensure continuity of care during the COVID-19 pandemic. But virtual care also holds promise beyond COVID-19, according to CipherHealth’s Chief Strategy Officer Alex Hejnosz. In this article, he explains why healthcare conversations that don’t occur in real time (i.e., asynchronous care), along with devices that enable patients to track their own conditions and report the results to their provider (i.e., remote patient monitoring) -- will inform the future of telehealth, and healthcare overall.
