Report: ERP software usability leads to digital transformation

Enterprise Software Usability and Digital Transformation

Cover

ERP software is supposed to eliminate data silos and push the business toward a digital transformation – but if workers can’t easily use the software, it can have the opposite effect.

That’s one finding of a survey of enterprise executives. The study, conducted by IFS and CFE Media, finds that ERP software usability is closely linked to a business’ perceived readiness for digital transformation.

Delve into the survey results, which also include CRM and supply chain management software. Here are a few findings of the effects of poor enterprise software:

  • 88% of users turn to spreadsheets
  • Up to 45% of workers pursue other jobs
  • Less engagement with service-based business models
  • And more
