The Basics of Consumerization Classroom

What exactly is consumerization, and what should businesses do about it? Our first lesson explains how new endpoint devices have entered the workplace, changing user habits and challenging organizational control over IT. Our second lesson is a podcast that looks at the best ways to approach security when enterprise IT may not have direct control over endpoint devices or even the apps being used. Our third lesson is a Q&A with an industry expert who examines how consumerization and bring your own device (BYOD) policies are just as important as any of the devices or apps in use. Our fourth lesson looks at elusive cost savings from BYOD and discusses how enterprises can still gain benefits such as increased productivity with the right strategy.
