Brian Gamble Systems Analyst, Boeing

Brian Gamble has 33 years of experience working in the Boeing IT department in a variety of roles developing expertise in networking, operating systems, application development, and management of application availability and performance.  He was responsible for the development of custom availability and performance management tools for a number of applications within Boeing using Perl, shell scripting and TCL prior to the implementation of the HP BAC suite.  Brian became involved in implementing Mercury’s Topaz (now the HP BAC) tool suite in early 2004, building the initial Application Management solution for Boeing Communications Systems, a large Siebel Call Center for the Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) business unit.  Based on the success of that implementation, Brian founded the CAS BAC Monitoring Service which is currently responsible for providing the application management solution for 160 application groups within CAS utilizing the HP Business Availability Center.

David Cornette HP BAC Engineer, Boeing

David Cornette is a specialist in application performance and availability management with nine years of experience delivering solutions with the HP / Mercury tool suites.  He has a broad base of experience consulting throughout the US and in Europe working with telecommunications, manufacturing and retail organizations.  David’s career started in performance testing large Siebel applications using LoadRunner, and using that experience he has helped several large scale organizations build and define application performance and availability centers of excellence from the ground up.  He was brought in to Boeing to help the CAS BAC Monitoring Service scale up to define the repeatable processes required to successfully provide an application availability and performance management solution to all of Boeing’s Commercial Aviation Services applications.

Aruna Ravichandran Director of Product Marketing, HP

Aruna Ravichandran is Director for Product Marketing for HP Application Performance Management solution which is a part of HP Business Availability Center. She has been with HP’s for past 15 years. She spent the first eight years of a career in R&D working in various labs such as HP-UX kernel lab, Networking Lab, High Availability Clustering lab doing design and development and then moving on to managing a large geographically distributed team of engineers. Later, she changed careers to the business side and has been doing product management and product marketing for storage software, security software, and network management center. In her current role with BAC, she is responsible for managing a team of Sr. Product Marketing Managers for HPs Application Performance Management portfolio and responsible for leading product marketing efforts including revenue attainment, strategic positioning, field enablement, sales engagement as well as analyst and press activities. Aruna has a MBA and Masters in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
