As organizations investigate the benefits of virtual desktops the question always arises as to whether a virtual desktop solution, like Citrix XenDesktop, or a server-hosted solution, like Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix XenApp, is a better option. Even users who only require a single application still require a "desktop" that is capable of presenting the application to the user.
