Assuring Asset Documentation Integrity
Owner-operators are under pressure to extract greater value from assets while reducing operational and capital expenditure. The value of these assets is measured in billions of dollars, each with a daily cost and revenue stream of millions of dollars and providing hundreds of thousands of dollars of profit per day. During its lifecycle, an asset is renovated, reconfigured, extended and eventually decommissioned to meet changing business demands or external regulatory requirements. Owner-operators must update and share information for the life of the asset. Effective operation of a facility is impossible without accurate up-to-date health and safety documents, maintenance manuals, SOPs, and as-built design documents, meaning that asset documentation plays a key role in the ongoing operation of facilities.
