According to Joi Ito's History of Moblogs, Steve Mann sent the first moblog post to the web in 1995 from a wearable computer .In the future, video cell phones may allow millions of users to film newsworthy footage and send it to news broadcasters instantly, further altering the balance between traditional media outlets and consumers of information.
