Furthermore, unlike some circuitry, IC designs cannot be simulated by a breadboard mock-up because their design is integrated, rather than discrete in nature. SPICE can also take into account differences caused by manufacturing tolerances or parasitic capacitances and resistances.SPICE can perform DC, transient, pole-zero, small-signal distortion, sensitivity and noise analysis and can simulate results at different temperatures.
