The last version of OS/2 Warp, Warp 4, offered a Netscape-based Web browser that exploited OS/2's speech recognition capability. IBM enhanced OS/2 to provide server functions for e-business.

While OS/2 is still in use, IBM has announced that its support will require a special contract beginning in 2006.
