Disk Mirroring

ALSO CALLED: File Mirroring, Mirroring, and Remote Mirroring
DEFINITION: A means by which data is written to two duplicate disks simultaneously. If one of the disk drives fails, the system can instantly switch to the other disk, thus no data is lost.
