Security University: Security Analytics

Cover

Industry hype has been building around the concept of security analytics, and for good reason: the more an organization knows about its devices, applications, data and the way its people use those assets, the better it can identify and prepare for likely threats. The quest for meaningful, reliable security data, however, can be daunting. In this Security School lesson, learn how to develop a customized program that delivers insightful, actionable security analytics. Key points of emphasis will include defining success, identifying needs, developing and integrating data sources, and ultimately analyzing information and using it to make smarter security decisions.
