ABSTRACT:
The underpinnings of enterprise networks, the domain name system, remains vital to the integrity of the Internet and transactions carried out and processed across networks. Since critical flaws were discovered in DNS three years ago, much more scrutiny has been focused on the fundamental networking technology.
In this presentation, Char Sample examines the Domain Name System (DNS) and three methods your enterprise can use to secure DNS, including proper DNS configurations, a thorough walk through of DNS Security Extensions, or DNSSEC, and the importance of monitoring traffic to and from your DNS infrastructure.
