ABSTRACT:
Testing more with less requires planning and strategic execution – something very hard to do if your quality teams are constantly pulled from their duties to fight fires. QA teams are limited to a kind of “best effort” approach to testing – doing the best you can with what you have, in the time you’re allowed, leaving little for investment in tools, methodologies and skill sets. This paper makes the argument that it’s cheaper to do things right from the beginning, rather than risk defects that can cause customer defection, system failures and lost revenue.
