Selecting a suitable platform for server virtualization is critical to the overall success of any virtualization or private cloud project. In the past few years, new technologies and approaches to virtualization have matured and we are seeing many enterprises take a "dual vendor" strategy as part of their goal to "de-risk" their investment should one of their virtualization vendors get acquired.
