Prior to his current role, Frederik has worked in Red Hat's Presales Organisation for Linux and Systems Management Areas and in Sales for JBoss Middleware. After having worked with Open Source & Linux since 1994, in late 1999 Frederik joined Delix, the company producing the German Linux Distribution DLD, later acquired by Red Hat to found its German business. He has earned a Master Degree in Business Administration specialising in Finance and information systems from Goethe University Frankfurt.
