Throughout his career, Ulander has held a number of senior management positions at leading technology companies including Sun Microsystems where he was senior vice president of marketing responsible for open sourcing the Java platform, building a growth business with OpenSolaris and establishing Sun as a leader in the open source enterprise software market.
