IT departments require a solution that meets the evolving needs of the business, employees, and IT— something not possible with a traditional PC model. Desktop modernisation is about evolving from the PC-centric model to a user-centric model. This paper illustrates the benefits of moving beyond the physical PC to a state that is highly flexible, easy to manage, customisable to suit users’ needs, and ready for new and future technology.
