ABSTRACT:
A lot of people are exploring desktop virtualization as a method for delivering Windows desktops to users. Unfortunately people often stumble when it comes to collaboration and VOIP apps. If you put your desktops in the data center for VDI, how do you use VOIP and other real-time apps? Is it just about the remoting protocol? Do you need special hardware? Is it expensive? In this presentation transcript, desktop virtualization experts Brian Madden & Gabe Knuth will take a independent look at what you can and can't do with VOIP, collaboration, and desktop virtualization today.
