Picking a Sensible Mobile Password Policy
Defining an enterprise mobile device passcode policy can be a difficult task. Security managers must meet two opposing goals: (1) Create a strong enough passcode policy to protect the device if it's stolen or lost while (2) not annoying users with needless length or complexity.
This paper recommends a passcode policy for mobile devices that is reasonable, user-friendly, highly usable, but still strong enough to protect your company’s data.
