The survey captures emerging trends and tracks the progress of well established ones. This year is no exception: the 2009 Airline IT Trends Survey includes new questions to gain an understanding of how current global cost management pressures are influencing IT strategy as well as how airlines are using or planning to use mobile-based services to better facilitate passenger operations. At the same time, the survey continues to track the evolution of IT budgets, passenger services and travel distribution.
