ABSTRACT:
In this article , we argue that a logical next step in the evolution of business computing is the bridging of the new gap between end-user social computing and business applications.
Business applications that support business processes and model data in a systematic way will continue to have the same crucial role in most organisations. At the same time social technologies will increasingly gain in importance both within and outside the boundaries of most organisations.
