With it, physical servers became virtual ones and your job got a whole lot simpler. working with products like VMware vSphere meant fewer afternoons in that cold server room. Creating new servers, backing them up, working with their installed OS, even snapshotting and replicating them evolved into tasks you could fully automate. With that automation came less of the IT administrators work that wasted time and kept you from the fun projects.
