Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2: What's New with PowerPivot?
One of the most eagerly awaited features of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 is the “Self Service Business Intelligence” technology known as PowerPivot. Working in conjunction with Office Excel 2010, data from multiple sources can be combined and analyzed together with the underlying complexities hidden from the analyst.
