This document explores a scenario that IT organizations could face in the not too distant future, brought about by the advent of the cloud phenomena - one that forces radical change or results in dire consequences for IT as we know it, and perhaps even removing the function altogether. If IT organizations are removed, this will, quite obviously, have a significant impact on the entire technology supply chain.
