ABSTRACT:
To meet new requirements, Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization (BIDPO) initiated a joint IT project with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) to provide a secure, robust, and cost-effective electronic health records (EHR) infrastructure for its 200-300 independent physicians at 173 locations in eastern Massachusetts. Utilization of this system allows BIDPO members to meet all the “Meaningful Use” criteria specified for reimbursement by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. One of the main requirements was minimizing costs and introducing a scalable solution.
Read this case study to learn how this physicians' organization was able to introduce Trend Micro's Deep Security solution and realize these benefits: increased security, increased flexibility, reduced costs, streamlined administration, and easy scalability.
