Modernizing Your Approach to Network Management
Managing modern converged networks requires more than collecting status information about network devices and circuits. To keep each application performing optimally on a shared infrastructure, enterprises need to gain visibility into exactly what traffic types are on their networks, their bandwidth utilization levels and application response times. This paper begins with a short primer on the basics of network management then discusses how and why it is changing to accommodate the disparate resource requirements of today’s integrated network applications.
