Ipswich Borough Council Shortens Backup times, Speeds File Restores with ExaGrid

When Ipswich Borough Council’s nightly backup times grew to 23 ½ hours a day, their IT department decided to look at alternatives to tape. After looking at several different disk-based backup systems, Ipswich chose a two-site ExaGrid system to work alongside its existing backup application, Symantec’s Backup Exec.
