ABSTRACT:
Learn why legal discovery is important for Notes Administrators and why archiving solutions address making legal discovery and compliance a seamless component of the IT environment. The speed and amount of information is not slowing down or shrinking by any order of the imagination. ESI (Electronically Stored Information) has always been discoverable and storage has been a major factor in the area of compliance and now legal discovery, but archiving systems are needed more and more with shared information growth.
Unless the corporate General Counsel learns the ins and outs of messaging and storage, it will be the role of the system administrators to learn the ins and outs of legal discovery and compliance. Therefore, it's incumbent of every IT person to understand the business requirements around legal discovery and deliver solutions that solve these problems. Determine how to make sure your company’s information is properly archived.
