As a leading pharmaceutical company with global operations, New Jersey–based Schering-Plough Corporation faces the challenge of efficiently deploying and provisioning thousands of new desktop and laptop computers each year. In the process of putting together a three-year strategy for the client environment, however, Schering- Plough found that it did not have a consistent, end-to-end global process for deployment and distribution of client systems.

Dell's Client Deployment Assessment (CDA) showed that Dell Automated Deployment (DAD) would address Schering-Plough's deployment problems. A successful DAD pilot at Schering-Plough proved that it is a powerful solution that can adapt to any infrastructure and attain benchmark deployment results.
