This paper focuses on the creation of an information "exchange" between applications or services in the context of the business processspecifically, the exchange of information between multiple service-provider trouble-ticketing systems in an enterprise eBonding example. It also focuses on one key strategy for creating the information exchange between services: using a common data/information model to mediate between the different schemas and models of the different applications. In particular, the paper suggests a process for using the TM Forum Information Framework (commonly referred to as SID) as the centerpiece of an exchange model architecture for data interoperability.
In this paper you will learn more in depth about application integration using the SID; Read on to learn a practical approach for project scoping and design in five steps.
