Virtualization projects are under consideration or in progress at many organizations looking to decrease capital and real estate expenses and launch energy conservation initiatives. This paper explains why enterprises should account for how business processes, administrative rights, capacity planning, performance monitoring tools, and security strategies will need to change before embarking on data center virtualization deployments.
