ABSTRACT:
Project portfolio management (PPM) and IT governance must go hand in hand to be successful. While PPM is the process of prioritizing projects based on need, costs and value to the business, IT governance ensures that process is done fairly and approved by all appropriate business parties.
This is a transcript of a presentation by Brian Turner, Chief Service Delivery Officer at Point B management consulting firm. He discusses how to keep governance relevant and effective in todays tough times and were going to talk through what impact our collective new reality is having on IT governance, what factors drive effective governance structures and were going to talk through some leadership strategies for you to apply and make those governance structures in your organization more effective.
