The Total Economic Impact™ of Dell’s PC Products And Services

This study highlights the costs and benefits of switching to Dell's PC products and services across the enterprise of a sample organization. The findings in this study are in large part based on in-depth interviews conducted by Forrester with seven organizations currently using Dell's PC products and services. The study examines the estimated net savings and benefits for the sample organization and presents the aggregate findings derived from the interview and analysis process as well as our independent research.
The study found that for the sample organization, switching to Dell products and services provided net risk-adjusted benefits and savings of $699,696 NPV (net present value) over a four year period in the following areas:
PC hardware cost savings
Savings from maintaining fewer PC images
Dell ProSupport for IT services
Dell Hardware Customization services
Dell Asset Recovery and Recycling services
Dell Direct model
Docking station commonality
