It brings together the performance and price-performance advantages of the ParAccel Analytic Database™ (PADB) with the enterprise reliability and feature set common in today's midrange SAN storage systems. And it does it in a unique manner that advances the PADB's scalable, shared-nothing architecture - using the SAN components not simply as an offline Disaster Recovery (DR) copy, but as an active extension of the shared-nothing architecture to deliver new functionality and enhance system reliability.
