ABSTRACT:
One of the easiest ways to enable mobile productivity is to plan for optimal battery coverage. Extended Battery Service gives you the flexibility to extend the terms of your laptop battery coverage for the remainder of your laptop's Limited Warranty, up to three years. This extended coverage provides you with one replacement battery during the extended term of coverage in the event that the primary battery experiences a failure. This is in addition to the one year of battery coverage Dell provides from date of purchase under the Limited Warranty for the computer. With Extended Battery Service, you can count on having a working battery that aligns with your laptop usage needs.
Extended Battery Service is designed to enable businesses and organizations with mobile users to accurately plan their laptop lifecycle costs by incorporating future replacement battery needs in their upfront purchase. This helps to avoid budget/purchase order approval at different points in time and having to address ‘surprise' (or unplanned) battery expenses. This is particularly relevant and beneficial for customer environments with cyclical funding.
