ABSTRACT:
Media Mobility promises a sophisticated user experience that will enable operators to dramatically increase their multi-play service bundles that integrate voice, data and video offerings. It will enable the operator to leverage a single platform that can feed multiple end user devices.
Media Mobility works by enabling a commonality of service between all of the content access points used by customers. These include PCs, television and mobile devices including phones and PDAs. Drawing on the lessons content providers have learned through the growth of the web, Media Mobility allows users to make personalized video choices, selecting both popular and narrow interest content on demand. It promises to provide consumers with entirely new forms of video entertainment that combine traditional program styles and emergent social network-driven entertainment modes across a wide range of consumer devices including set top boxes, mobile phones, portable media products and PCs.
