This document is based on an Ocarina Networks/TechTarget Webcast entitled "How Today's Enterprise Is Getting More Out of Less with Content-Aware Compression and Dedupe for Online Storage." In this document Carter George talks about some key trends that are happening in the storage world that fortuitously are going to allow doing more requests just at the time when everybody needs that.

Carter George is the Vice President of Products for Ocarina networks. Previously, was a co-founder of PolyServe, which was later acquired by HP. At PolyServe, he was VP of Business Development and VP/GM of its scalable fault time NAS storage division. Prior to PolyServe, George was Chief Enterprise Architect for Sequent computer, later acquired by IBM for $1 billion. George grew the company’s consulting business from scratch to $100 million, overseeing its M&A division and playing other key roles.
