ABSTRACT:
On devices that are running BlackBerry Connect software, if the BlackBerry Enterprise Server sends an IT policy rule to the device that the BlackBerry Connect Transport Stack supports, the BlackBerry Connect Transport Stack reports the rule to the BlackBerry Connect software. The BlackBerry Connect Transport Stack can apply a specific subset of the IT policy rules internally. You must use the BlackBerry Connect software to apply the remaining IT policy rules.
Devices that are running BlackBerry Built-In software can use all the IT policy rules that are associated with the supported features of the specific BlackBerry Built-In implementation.
Devices that are running the BlackBerry Application Suite can use all the IT policy rules that are associated with the supported features of the BlackBerry Application Suite. IT policy rules that are associated with unsupported features do not work with the BlackBerry Application Suite.
