Cover
Microsoft® Essential Business Server 2008 (EBS 2008) is a new infrastructure solution spread over three independent servers. It provides midsized businesses with more powerful management of day to day tasks, comprehensive network and data protection, simplified device setup, and rich business productivity features - all within the high performance Windows Server environment.

By deploying Windows Mobile 6 devices with EBS, 2008, you can offer your employees (such as sales staff or field personnel) access to e-mail, contact lists, calendars, and documents stored on the company Web site from their Windows Mobile devices. You can administer mobile devices as if they were on the local network, installing certificates or remotely wiping devices for security purposes.

EBS 2008 provides a simple, secure, and consolidated management console through which administrators can control its servers. With EBS 2008, you will be able to ensure secure internal access for the mobile devices deployed in your network.
