Hitachi Simple Modular Storage system toady is terabytes of iSCSI storage Wrapped in a pizza-box sized enclosure designed to be "consumer electronic easy". These type of application include real-time surveillance systems by retailers for both security and customer profiling, and mobile emergency room, intensive care and other type of health care delivery unit powered by mobile systems and managed by regional healthcare providers.
