ABSTRACT:
Service organizations are becoming increasingly aware of the need to automate their field service operations, which includes the introduction of scheduling, route optimization, and mobile technology, in order to help them achieve more profitable and productive service operations. According to an Aberdeen Group survey of more than 300 companies with field service divisions, 90% were currently or planning to optimize field service.
Aberdeen Group also indicated that companies who implement field service optimization and mobile technology see performance gains of 28%.
