ABSTRACT:
Symantec commissioned West Coast Labs (WCL) to perform a series of comparative tests of Symantec Endpoint Protection against other equivalent security products. The tests focused on both performance impact and effectiveness when compared with the industry average against hard to counter threats - in this case, rootkits and rogue antisyware programs. The report displays particular areas of the resulting data to highlight where Symantec was the most effective.
