ABSTRACT:
Application Rights Auditor enables companies considering projects to remove administrative rights to make informed decisions about project scope. For companies preparing to remove administrative rights, knowing which applications require users to have administrative rights will help determine the best solution to allow users to continue to do their jobs and eliminate application downtime.
The product consists of a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in and a desktop component. Reports are configured and viewed within the MMC. The desktop component is installed on computers to examine which applications require administrative rights and sends encrypted log files to a secure server farm at BeyondTrust. Each installation of Application Rights Auditor has a unique encryption key to ensure your report information is private and only accessible by you.
Key Benefits of BeyondTrust® Application Rights Auditor:
- Discover all applications that require users to have administrative rights
- Determine the true scope of a project to remove administrative rights
- Easy to install - requires no new infrastructure & view reports in MMC
- Application Rights Auditor is available for free at www.beyondtrust.com
